The UiS Business School has announced the extension of its partnership with the business conference Norway Summit.
Norway Summit is a yearly business conference in Stavanger and a part of the highly esteemed Norway Chess tournament. The conference focuses on topics like technology, finance, innovation and sustainability. It is a meeting place for thinkers from both the academic and the business world and attracts more people to the region.
As a part of the renewed partnership, UiS Business School will keep collaborating with Norway Summit.
– The fact that Norway Summit attracts distinguished thinkers benefits both the university and our students. The topics are always cutting-edge and focus on the intersection of economics, technology, and sustainability. We are excited to build upon our existing collaboration with Norway Summit, says Ola Kvaløy, Dean at UiS Business School
Crucial partnership
The collaboration between UiS Business School and Norway Summit has been strong from the beginning, general manager, Benedicte Westre Skog, explains:
– The university has consistently recommended talented individuals who have contributed significantly to the conference program. Norway Summit aims to create a platform for academia and business to exchange ideas and collaborate on the path forward. The partnership with the University of Stavanger will be crucial in achieving this objective.
This year, 2023, Norway Summit happens on June 1st. This year's topic is «The Next Move». Speakers will be announced, so pay attention. This is also highly recommended for students, and there will be student prices on the tickets.
