The UiS board discussed Israel at its meeting on 6 June 2024.
The strike at UiS is ended
The strike ended after government intervention Wednesday 5 June.
Examinations for four subjects have been postponed. 44 students were affected by this. We are working to ensure that these students complete their exams as soon as possible and before the holidays. Other exams will be conducted as normal. Students will be notified directly if they are not to attend.
Due to the strike, there are now a total of 69 exams (courses and assignments) that will have delayed censorship. This affects between 1000-1350 exam candidates.
Postponed submission of bachelor’s and master’s theses
There are grounds for applying for deferred submission of your master’s or bachelor’s thesis if you have not received the guidance you are entitled to because your supervisor is on strike. This is done in the Digital Student Expedition. Delayed grading does not provide grounds for an extended deadline in itself.
