Academic requirement: All India Senior School Certificate (Standard 12) issued by CBSE + 4 years university education or Indian School Certificate (ISC Standard 12) issued by CISCE + 4 years university education or Secondary School Certificate issued by NIOS + 4 years university education or Higher Secondary Certificate issued by State Secondary School Boards + 4 years university education or Pre-University Examination Certificate + 4 year university education or Intermediate Examination Certificate + 4 years university education.

Applications without a final bachelor's diploma will not be considered. Provisional certificates, character certificates or other temporary certificates are not accepted.

Additional documentation requirement: UiS normally requires that documents on higher education issued in Ukraine are apostilled under the current rules set by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. As a consequence of the war, it is currently not possible for Ukrainian applicants to obtain an apostille on educational documents from Ukraine. Additional documentation requirement: E-transcript must be sent directly to the Admission Office (admissions@uis.no) within 1 February. 

If your institution does not use e-transcript, official transcript of records must be sent directly by the issuing institution to the Admission Office. The address is as mentioned above on this page.

Note: In addition, you must upload a scanned copy of your transcript in SøknadsWeb within 1 December. However, only applications with transcripts that are delivered directly to the Admission Office within 1 February will be considered. This deadline applies only for those who applied for international admission. Before 1993: New Zealand University Bursaries Examination with a grade of A, B C or D in each of 4 subjects + 3 years university education.
