About the organisation

The academic activities at UiS are organised into six faculties, in addition to the Archaeological Museum. Each of these units is divided into departments and divisions. There are also several research centres and national research and competence centres affiliated with UiS.
In addition, the University of Stavanger collaborates with R&D centres, knowledge clusters, and networks.
UiS-EVU is the university's unit for continuing and further education.
